Reviews don't happen. They get asked for.
The businesses with 200 reviews aren't more loved than you. They just ask every single time, and you don't.

Every finished job. Every time.
When a job closes, the request goes out — while the work is still fresh and the customer is still pleased. Not three weeks later when they've forgotten your name. If they don't respond, a single follow-up goes out and then it stops, because nagging costs you the review and the customer.
Reviews that arrive get surfaced to you with a drafted reply you can send or rewrite. Specific, not templated — because half of consumers say a generic response actively puts them off.

In BrightLocal's 2026 survey, 45% of consumers said they use ChatGPT or similar AI tools to find reviews of local businesses — up from 6% the year before. That is now the third most common place people look, and Google's own share fell from 83% to 71% over the same period.
What those tools repeat back about you is assembled from your reviews, your profile and your site. Which is a fairly direct argument for keeping all three current.
